Services for Children and Families

A comprehensive range of nursing and therapy services for children, young people and their families, including specialist therapies for those with additional needs.

From 1 April 2017, the NHS children's community services have been provided by a new Surrey-wide service called Children and Family Health Surrey . This service is run by three established NHS providers: CSH Surrey, First Community Health and Care, and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Wednesday 12 July 2017: the Weybridge-based health visiting, school nursing and paediatric therapy teams have had to be relocated from Weybridge Hospital due to a fire that destroyed the building in the early hours of 12th July. We are arranging for the phone lines to be diverted so we can pick up and respond to messages.

The services are running as follows:

Baby/child health clinics: these are now being held at the Weybridge Children's Centre until at least September 2017 (Churchfield Pavilion, Churchfield Road, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 8DB).

School nursing enuresis (night time bedwetting): clinics are being run at the Walton Health Centre (Rodney Rd, Walton-on-Thames KT12 3LB) for the foreseeable future.

Speech and Language Therapy: clinics are now being held at the Weybridge Children's Centre until at least September 2017 (Churchfield Pavilion, Churchfield Road, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 8DB)

Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy: no change to clinics.

Health visitor home visits: if you were due to have a home visit by a health visitor, one of the team will contact you.

Walk in Centres: if you need advice or treatment for minor illnesses or injuries, the nearest walk in centres are at Woking and Ashford Hospitals. Opening hours are 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.

Pharmacy: the nearest Lloyds pharmacy is in Addlestone, which is approx 1.5 miles from the Weybridge Hospital site. Address: 92b Station Rd, Addlestone KT15 2AD. Phone: 01932 842 592.

If you have an urgent question or concern, please email ask.cfhs@nhs.net and we will respond as quickly as we can.
