The Stroke Association is a charity that offers insight into the effects of a stroke and the recovery. They organise support groups and online activities and advise on what services could help you in your area. They also provide support to the carers and families of stroke survivors.

Headway

Headway offers various activities for people with a brain injury, including stroke survivors.They have online coffee mornings, counselling, support for families, walking groups, and  information about brain injury.

They also have a group for 18-35 year olds.

Some activities are online, some are face to face.

Some activities are free, some have a small cost.

Different Strokes

This is a charity that supports younger adults who have survived a stroke.

They offer virtual meetings, virtual exercise classes, befrienders, family support, helpline and face to face support groups
