Thursday 2 July 2015. Nurses, therapists and support staff across local NHS provider CSH Surrey are today celebrating being employee-owned to mark national Employee Ownership Day (EO Day) 2015.
Teams from across CSH Surrey got creative with the 'pointy hand' props provided by the Employee Ownership Association to celebrate the fact they own and run the organisation that provides mid Surrey's local NHS community services.
Professor Jo Pritchard, Chief Executive of CSH Surrey, says: "We have clear evidence that being employee-owned means our nurses and therapists feel more pride, commitment and motivation, which means better quality care for our patients and families. This is clearly shown in our quality and performance data, and when comparing our annual staff survey results with those of the wider NHS.”
