Wednesday 23 December 2015. CSH Surrey’s Stroke Specialist Nurse, Erika Frohlick, has been shortlisted for a national patient experience award for her ‘Life after Stroke workshops’.
Her work is one of five projects from across the country that have made it through to the finals in the ‘Support for Caregivers, Friends and Family’ category of the Patient Experience Network (PEN) National Awards 2015. The winners will be announced at the PEN Awards Finals and Conference in Birmingham on Wednesday 2nd March 2016. In November 2015, Erika’s workshops were named Runners Up in the ‘Patient Champion’ category of the regional Kent, Surrey and Sussex NHS Leadership Awards. The winner of the category, CSH Surrey Physiotherapist Vicky Kershaw, has now been put forward for the national NHS Leadership Recognition Awards for her work with dementia patients. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Tuesday 8th March 2016.
