February 2017. CSH Surrey a local social enterprise has donated £2,000 to three local projects in and around the Surrey area, bringing the total to nine helped this year. The £2,000 will be shared between Music in Hospitals, CRUSE Bereavement Care and Catalyst. The total donations awarded through CSH Surrey’s Community Fund for 2016 is £10,000.
Music in Hospitals will be putting on three concerts in 2017 at the community hospitals in Dorking, Epsom and Molesey. The musical group ‘Surrey Serenades’, which provides the concerts, received £834.00 to cover the three events.
CRUSE Bereavement Care supports those in their time of need. The £1014 donation support projects in the Epsom and Mole Valley areas.
Catalyst (formerly Surrey Alcohol and Drug Advisory Services) was awarded £152 to provide secure lockable storage for parents who are on substitute prescriptions for drug use. These parents are still caring for children and this lockable storage will help protect their children from accessing the drugs.
