Temporary parking arrangements are in place from 8 January 2024 at Woking Community Hospital
Woking Community Hospital has received planning consent to further develop a community diagnostic centre and construction work on site is due to begin in early January 2024.
During the construction, services based at Woking Community Hospital will run as normal, however on-site parking will be significantly reduced from 8 January 2024 and alternative parking options have been arranged.
From Monday 22 April the front entrance to the hospital will be closed. The main entrance, along with the reception team, will be temporarily relocated to the walk-in centre entrance. We apologise for the inconvenience
Where should you park during the construction?
The nearest alternative car park is Heathside Crescent car park (www.woking.gov.uk/parking-and-streets/car-parks/find-car-park/heathside-crescent-car-park) which has 496 spaces and is located in close proximity (approximately 5 minutes’ walk) to Woking Community Hospital.
There is a drop off area outside outpatients, and turning, to allow people to drop off and then go and park.
A parking support team is on site to help and guide people.
What if I am a Blue Badge Holder?
Parking provision has been made at Woking Community Hospital for Blue Badge Holders throughout the construction period. Please do take care as you leave your vehicle to enter the hospital building and observe all safety notices displayed. If you require any additional support, please contact asp-tr.cdc-woking@nhs.net.
