No vehicle access to Woking Community Hospital – Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October

On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October, there will be no vehicle access to the Woking Community Hospital site between 10am and 2pm to allow for the new Community Diagnostic Centre modular units to be delivered and installed.

Patients and visitors driving to the hospital site will need to park in the nearby Heathside Car Park. We are making arrangements for patients and visitors with a disability or low mobility to enable them to park and access the site.

This work requires a multiagency approach to ensure that these works can be carried out safely as with a little disruption as possible to those coming onsite. Surrey Police will be supporting the transport of the modular units and closing Heathside Road between the police station and the hospital site entrance – please see map below for further details.

We are working with partners across the system to ensure that these works have minimal impact on the patients and visitors accessing the GPs, Walk in Centres and services provided on the site.

There will be an increased presence of staff onsite to support members of the public to get to where they need to go throughout the weekend as safely and as swiftly as possible.

A plan is in place to ensure that emergency services are able to access the site as and when needed throughout the duration of the works.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
