This service is provided by CSH Surrey for ambulatory patients referred in by local GP practices, Urgent Treatment Centres, tissue viability, hospitals and other healhcare professional lead services for patients whose GP practices are within the boundaries of North West Surrey.
The service provides advanced wound care for non-housebound patients with long-standing chronic wounds that are non-healing when all best practice interventions have failed.
A service is also provided to non-housebound patients who require topical negative wound pressure therapy.
The clinics are led by registered complex wound nurses and health care wound assistants.
There are three clinics – locations offered (see below), and appointments are based on individual clinic capacity and registered GP location.
The Complex Wound Clinics do not have an administrative team so a relevant clinician will be in contact when an appointment slot becomes available.
Current waiting time is four weeks – updated waiting time information will be given at the time of referral.
Patients must arrange private transportation to the clinics.
Please see separate information for opening times of clinic sites.
To make a referral, please use our Single Point of Access (SPA), which operates between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
