Dr Subo Shanmuganathan is an experienced leader with a 25‑year career across health, education, regulation and the charitable sector. She completed her PhD in Clinical Immunovirology at Imperial College London, and has since held senior executive roles focused on organisational development, strategic change and service transformation.

John Machin joined the CSH Board as a non-executive director on 1 April 2020 and chairs our audit and risk committee as well as being a member of the finance, digital and innovation, quality and safety and putting people first committees.
Rasheed is a physiotherapist by background and has worked as a clinician, researcher and most recently as director of clinical services in a specialist hospital. He completed his MBA in leadership in 2020.
Jane has an extensive and diverse background in the NHS, after joining in 1982 as a student nurse. Since 2020, she has been a non-executive director at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust. In this role she has chaired the quality committee, the people committee, acted as deputy chair and from 2022 onwards, been its senior independent director.
