Rasheed is a physiotherapist by background and has worked as a clinician, researcher and most recently as director of clinical services in a specialist hospital. He completed his MBA in leadership in 2020.
Rasheed is passionate about evidence based practice and continuing professional development. He coordinated and published an annex to the Royal College of Physicians guidelines on people with a disorder of consciousness and is currently completing a Cochrane systematic review on assistive technologies for contracture management in adult stroke patients.
Rasheed also works as a volunteer advisor to brain injury charities and patient / relative support groups. He is a Manchester United supporter, keen walker and frequently visits the Lake District.
