When you have a neurological condition, it can be harder to move and reposition yourself.
If someone is bedbound it means they are unable to move without assistance and spend the majority of their time in a bed or chair. This may be due to frailty, illness, declining health or injury.
The Thames Medical Hub, based at Walton Community Hospital, provides proactive coordinated care for older people with frailty and multiple long-term conditions who are registered with GPs in the boroughs of Runnymede and West Elmbridge.
